When you use Fiery Setup Wizard, note that one of the print environments is selected and highlighted
in blue by default. This is the recommended personality of the imagePRESS Server.
•
If you click Next, the regional and server settings that you specified earlier and the selected print
environment are applied to the imagePRESS Server.
•
If you click Skip this step, factory default settings are applied to the imagePRESS Server. However, the
regional and server settings that you specified earlier are still applied.
•
If you click Cancel, none of the settings you specified earlier are applied and Fiery Setup Wizard
continues to be available.
Print environments
A print environment configuration contains standard setup options for a particular print environment. You can
choose from one of the following configurations that best fit your print environment.
Depending on which print environment you choose, Fiery Setup Wizard may limit users or print functions. If an
unintended problem occurs after using Fiery Setup Wizard, print the Fiery configuration page and check which
settings are applied.
Note: The default settings are unique to each print environment. The default settings provided in this document are
the system defaults, and do not conform to any particular print environment.

After using Fiery Setup Wizard
After completing the Fiery Setup Wizard, you can still make changes to settings through Configure or the Setup
feature on the printer control panel. Using the wizard does not affect your ability to use Configure.
If you already used Fiery Setup Wizard and want to know which settings are applied, print the Configuration page.
The Configuration page lists all of the settings currently applied to the imagePRESS Server.

image quality with features such as variable data printing and sequential printing.
