Check condition and firm seating
Replace all wear items when the
• wear limits have been reached
• change intervals have been reached

Check condition, bearing, fastening, and free rotation.
Spray the bearing locations with a suitable anticorrosive before exten-
ded idle periods.
Before recommissioning, turn the packer by hand and check for free
rotation.
Check for damage
Check all hydraulic components and hoses for function, leak tight-
ness, fastening and chafing.
Check for leaks and chafing marks
Check switching function – close and open by air draught or at the
bottom on the shaft mark.
Check that they are in place and legible
Check condition and replace if aged or showing reduced tensioning
force.
Check state, wear, bearing play and light movement. The discs must
be rotatable by hand.
Check for condition, tight fit and wear.
