10. Insure that Stake Arms and Top arm are in the correct position (as shown) using the 1000RPM option.
Installing the 1000 RPM Reducer Gearbox onto a 540 RPM Snowblower
1. Disconnect
all
components
snowblower and disconnect the snowblower
from the tractor.
NOTE: ENSURE
THE
SUPPORTED AND WILL NOT TIP OVER.
2. Remove the Cone and Mounting Plate to
expose the Gearbox Cap Plate.
3. Remove the four 3/8" bolts and lock washers
and remove the Gearbox Cap Plate.
NOTE: This job may be easier if the right hand
shield is removed.
4. Clean the face of the gearbox to ensure all
grease and dirt is removed.
5. Follow
the
Reducer
instructions to complete the conversion. A new
seal will be needed for installation into the
coupler. A new Bearing Race should be used as
well.
