4. Assemble the two Top Link Adapter Plates (8)
using six 5/8" x 1-3/4" and bolts and locknuts (9).
NOTE: Assemble the Top Link Adapter Plates in the
proper orientation for your 3-point hitch as
shown in the figure.
5. Tighten all bolts in the order they were installed.
6. Install the Top Link Pin in the hole that matches
your 3-point hitch Category, and the two Lower
Link Pins.
7. Separate the two universal joint halves and apply
SAE (NGLI) #0 or #1 if below 0 Celsius (32º
Fahrenheit) or SAE (NGLI) #2 if above 0 Celsius
(32º Fahrenheit) to all sides of the sliding
member. Reassemble the tractor shaft and lay to
the side, do not reinstall it onto the snow blower
at this time.
8. Attach the snow blower to the tractor and level
the snow blower.
Precautions must be taken when mounting the snow blower to your tractor to ensure that
there is adequate clearance to allow the universal joint assembly to operate within its
design slip range.
Failure to properly install the universal joint may cause the universal joint to separate during operation possible
resulting in personal injury or damage to equipment.
9. Carefully raise and lower the snow blower.
