Check local regulations before operating on roadways. With proper maintenance as described in this manual, your Snow Blower will provide you with years of dependable service with a minimum of repairs.

    Refer to the “Skid Steer Motor Mount” pages in this manual. 1. Check with your local Schulte dealer or the factory to ensure that you have the correct size hydraulic motor and the proper mount frame for your make and model of skid steer.

    The minimum tractor HP for the SBX-75 is 30-50 HP and SBX-87 is 40-60 HP. Operating the implement with a larger tractor will greatly increase the risk of damaging the implement. SBX-75/87 04/19 Operation Section 4-5 © 2019 Alamo Group Inc.

    Place the tractor shift lever into a low range or parking gear to prevent the tractor from rolling. Never dismount a Tractor that is moving or while the engine is running.     The tractor should never be operated at speeds that cannot be safely handled or which will prevent the operator from stopping quickly during an emergency.     Do not raise or tilt the snow blower to a height that obstructs the operator’s visibility to the front of the snow blower. The height limiting safety chain should stay connected to the snow blower and skid steer during transport to prevent the snow blower from being raised too high.     The UHMW ring requires no lubrication. However it must be inspected for wear. The distance between the chute and the base should always be about ½". If wear is found, a shim kit can be purchased from your local Schulte dealer. To install the shim kit: Remove the 5/8" bolts holding the guide sleeves to the chute base.
