Status Display
The first line of the Status Display (the library status line) shows the state of the CAP .
The normal CAP states are:
CAP States
State
CAP Locked, No Entry
ENTER Unlocks CAP
CAP Unlocked
The remaining three lines of the Status Display show information about the DLT drives,
including drive type and current operational status.
The possible messages displayed for current drive operational status are:

Description
Shows the current library and DLT drive status
Provides library diagnostics, error and configuration
information, and sets library configuration.
Provides choices for cleaning the DLT drives.
Description
The Cartridge Access Port (CAP) cannot be used.
The Cartridge Access Port (CAP) can be unlocked by
pressing the ENTER key.
The Cartridge Access Port (CAP) is ready to be opened.
Description
Communication error.
Hardware error.
The drive needs cleaning.
