Operating Instructions Computer CT 350
Batteries:
Open the battery case at the backside of the computer
and insert 2 batteries Mignon AA 1.5 V.
Switch on:
After inserting the battery and/ or after pressing any
button all displays will blink for some seconds.
If any of the display fails, replace the battery.
Please consult your retailer if this had already happened.
Beginning of Training
Please see attached Training Instructions
1. Training without the entering of any data
To set each value back to zero, press Reset-button (10)
to have each function value reset individually.
If you choose not to enter any training data, you may start
training now.
The entered data for time, distance and calories
consumption will be counted upwards.
To display the pulse rate, please put both hands on the
sensors of handlebar. Only you are holding the sensors
with 2 hands will make the system working correctly
After a few seconds your pulse rate will be shown on the
display.
After having finished a training session the achieved rates
will be shown for a further 4 minutes.
If you continue training within this four minutes the
achieved rates data shall be brought forward.
Fitness Level:
After having finished a training session, immediately
press the Recovery-button (11) and keep holding both
hands on the grips. The computer will stop all function
displays except the "time" which is counting down from
00:60 to 00: 00. As soon as 00:00 is reached, the LCD will
show your heart rate status with grade F1, F2.to F6.
At the end your personal fitness-level appears:
F1: excellent
F6: insufficient
The fitness-level is for personal orientation.
The ability to recover is tested by comparing the pulse
rates before and after a physical training session.
When exercising regularly, you will notice that your
personal fitness level will be improving.
2. Training with the entering of data
To set each value back to zero, press the Reset
-button (10) individually.
Entering data:
Time:
Press the Mode-button (12) until time appears in display.
Enter chosen rate in minutes by pressing the
Set-button (9).
Distance:
Press the Mode-button (12) until distance appears in
display. Enter chosen distance in km by pressing the
Set-button (9).
Calories consumption:
Press the Mode-button (12) until calories appears in
display. Enter chosen amount in kcal by pressing the
Set-button (9).
Pulse rate:
Press the Mode-button (12) until pulse appears in display.
Enter chosen pulse rate by pressing the Set-button (9)
Please read the attached Training Instructions to find
your maximum and minimum pulse rate
Or consult your physician.
The computer will start beeping to remind you as soon as
any preset target function value counts down to zero
during exercising.
Without any signal transmitted to the computer for 4
minutes, the LCD will shut off automatically.
Mode- button:
If the Mode-button (12) is pressed for more than 4
seconds, all entered rates will go back to zero except
speed function value.
Set-button:
If the Set-button (9) is pressed for more than one second
the rate will move automatically. Pressing the set button
again the rate will stop.
3. Training with entered data:
The entered data will run backwards after starting
training.
To display the pulse rate please hold on the grips with
both hands during exercise.
If your maximum pulse rate is exceeded you will be
warned by a beep.
