Securing the truck for transport
Requirements
– Load the truck.
– Truck parked securely, see page 67.
Tools and Material Required
– Lashing straps
– Edge protectors
– Wooden beam or pallet
Procedure
• Position the wooden beam or pallet between the front of the transport vehicle and
the load handler to ensure a positive fit between the front of the transport vehicle
and the load handler.
• Attach the lashing straps (50) to the industrial truck and the transport vehicle and
tension sufficiently.
Z
Use edge protectors to protect the truck and the lashing straps.
The truck can now be transported.
