130 Driving and parking
To switch on the power supply: press but‐

You can now activate the windshield wiper,
for example.
The power supply is switched off again if the fol‐
lowing conditions are met:
The driver's door is open.

You press button

To switch on the ignition: press button

The indicator lamps in the instrument cluster
light up.
The ignition is switched off again if one of the
following conditions is met:
You do not start the vehicle within

The SmartKey is located in the vehicle and

Shift the transmission to position j or i.

The legal stipulations in the area where your

vehicle is parked permit engine starting via

It is safe to start and run the engine where

Starting the vehicle using a smartphone
