SERVICING AS REQUIRED

BChecking Amount of Refrigerant (gas)
To avoid personal injury:
A Liquid contact with eyes or skin may cause
frostbite.
A In the event of a leakage, wear safety goggles.
Escaping refrigerant can cause severe injuries
to eyes.
A In contact with a flame, R134a refrigerant result
in a toxic gas.
A Do
not
disconnect
refrigeration circuit of the air conditioning
system. Consult your local KUBOTA Dealer for
assistance and service.
A shortage of refrigerant reduces the air-conditioner
performance. Check the following points. If it is indicated
that the amount of refrigerant is extremely low, ask your
dealer to inspect and charge.
C Checking procedure
1. Run the air-conditioner in the following conditions.
A Engine speed:
A Temperature control lever: Maximum cooling
A Fan switch:
A Air-conditioner switch:
2. Look into the sight glass to see if the refrigerant is
flowing through its circuit.

BDraining the fuel filter
If the fuel filter water error code
as shown right appears on the
LCD display, immediately take
the following steps to drain the
filter after stopping the engine.
1. Remove the bolt. Take much care not to lose it.
2. Open the drain shutoff-valve and drain the water.
3. After draining the water completely, close the drain
shutoff-valve and then attach the bolt.
(1) Fuel filter location

(3) Drain shutoff-valve
A If you don't drain the fuel filter immediately after the
alarm, the engine may be seriously damaged.
A After draining the fuel filter, drain the water separator
as soon as possible.
A Without the fuel filter drained, the cleaning efficiency of
the DPF (3000 hours) will be reduced and the DPF
longevity will be shorter than expected.
