Programming keys for call numbers and functions (Perso page/F1 and F2
keys/Add-on keys)
If your set is not equipped with a magnetic keyboard, use the alpha-numeric keyboard to enter letters.
Use the alpha-numeric keyboard key to switch between the numeric and alphabetic keyboard. When in
alphabetic mode, the LED corresponding to the key remains lit up.
Depending on your desk phone, you can program:
•
Softkeys of the Perso page.
•
Keys/softkeys of the add-on module.
•
F1 and F2 keys.
•
'Abc' key in case a magnetic keyboard is connected (ALE-30h).
In case these keys are used for hold and transfer features, F1 and F2 are not programmable (configuration
for United States for example).
If the key is not programmed yet:
•
Select the key to program.
•
Enter your password (if required) and
•
Use one of the following:
o
Speed dial
o
Services
If the key is already programmed:
•
Reach the 'Menu' page
•
Select the key to program.
•
Enter your password (if required) and
•
Use one of the following:
o
Speed dial
o
Services
To program a number

Enter the number.
•
Apply
•
For a softkey (perso page or add-on), enter the name of the key.

To return to the home page.

You can customize the name color and style of the key by entering a prefix. See chapter below.
Customize the color and the style of programmable softkeys (ALE-30h in
IP mode)
You can customize the color and style of the softkeys of the perso page and the add-on modules by
inserting a prefix in front of the label of the softkey.
When you program a softkey, add the prefix to the name of the softkey to customize it.
