Fuel tank is empty
Fuel line or filter clogged
Fouled spark plug
Spark plug wire damaged or loose
Loose wire connection at ignition coil
Ignition coil failed
Kill circuit grounded
Fuel pump malfunction or failure
Fan screen is partially blocked or plugged
Governor is improperly adjusted
Excessive back pressure in exhaust
Fuel/air mixture is too lean; check EFI
Overloading
Poor quality engine oil
Excessive carbon deposits on piston head or
in combustion chamber
Spark plug heat range is incorrect
Unsuitable or contaminated fuel
Exhaust valve is restricted with carbon deposit
Muffler or exhaust pipe restricted with carbon
or other substance
Ignition coil failed
Air filter is dirty or clogged
Governor is improperly adjusted
Throttle linkage out of adjustment
