Injector holder

For test purposes, the injector is inserted in the injector
holder (refer to Fig. 4) and then firmly clamped with the
injection chamber. The injector is guided by the clamp-
ing sleeve and the guide sleeve in the injection cham-
ber. Different sizes are available for both sleeves.

Attaching and clamping injection chamber
1. Insert injector in the injector holder.
2. Press the clamping piece (Fig. 4, item 11) and injec-
tion chamber (Fig. 4, item 6) upwards against the
nozzle retaining nut of the injector. The injector must
not have any axial play.
3. Turn the handwheel (Fig. 4, item 10) clockwise and
secure.
4. Press down the lever (Fig. 4, item 7).

1. Pull up the lever (Fig. 4, item 7).
2. Hold the clamping element with the injection cham-
ber in position and turn the handwheel counter-
clockwise.
3. Lower the injection chamber.

The adjustable holding device is inserted in the guide of

the injector holder (Fig. 4, item 2) and provides support
when clamping the injector in the injector holder. The

holding device can be used for all passenger vehicle in-
jectors with a nozzle retaining nut diameter of up to 22

mm. The clamping jaws (Fig. 5, item 1) can be turned
through 360° and set by way of the adjusting screw
(Fig. 5, item 2) to the size of the injector

(adjustment range 9 – 18 mm).
