Test pressure line

WARNING: Risk of burns
Hot surfaces on the test pressure lines may
result in severe burn injuries to the hands.
Allow the test pressure lines to cool
down before detaching them.
Wear protective gloves.

Handling test pressure lines is described in the
separate "Test pressure line for EFEP ... / EPS ..."
instructions, order number: 1 689 979 929.
The test pressure lines 1 680 750 121 (45°) and
1 680 750 122 (11°) connect the injectors to the distribu-
tor rail.

The test pressure lines are fitted with exchangeable
adapter nuts on both ends (Fig. 23, item 1). The adapt-
er nut can be changed depending on the thread size of
the high-pressure outlet at the injector. Use is made of
the adapter nut 1 683 345 053 for connection to the
distributor rail.
If use is made of the adapter nut, this is to be screwed
onto the test pressure line and tightened. The scope of
delivery includes three adapter nuts for the following
thread sizes:

Each time the adapter nut is changed, make sure
the thrust rings (Fig. 23, item 2) are firmly tightened
(left-hand thread).
