1. Insert the connector on the elastic stomach belt into the opening on the pulse rate monitor.
2. Turn the clasp in such a way that it rests smoothly in the opening, press the rubber of the elastic
stomach belt into the guides of the clasp.
3. The elastic stomach belt must touch the body as shown in the picture. Adjust the length in such
a way that it does not hinder breathing or blood circulation. Both oblong contact surfaces for
pulse rate measurement (10) must directly touch the skin, there must be no material between
the contacts and the skin. If needed, you can moisten the contact surfaces with some water so
that it produces better conductivity and hence can detect the pulse better.
As in all materials touching the skin, this too may cause skin irritations or other al-
lergic reactions (e.g. redness, rash etc.).
If you notice any such reaction, remove the pulse rate monitor immediately. Wash
the concerned skin region with warm water and a mild soap and visit a doctor.
The distance between the pulse rate monitor and pulse watch must be maximum
3 m, otherwise no data transmission is possible. With weak batteries, this distance
can reduce further. The data transmission can be disturbed by mobile telephones,
electronic workout devices, wireless computer on the bicycle, high voltage cables and
other radio products. Clean the contacts and the pulse rate monitor regularly, use a
slightly damp cloth and then dry the pulse rate monitor carefully.
