• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The product does only
emit relatively weak radio signals. These radio signals could, however, lead to mal-
functions in life-supporting systems.
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport),
condensation water may form. This could damage the product. Wait until the prod-
uct has reached room temperature before using it. This process may take several
hours.
• Like all other GPS products, the product function also depends on the GPS satellite
system that operates across USA. Hence we cannot assume guarantee for avail-
ability of the GPS signal and its precision.
• The GPS component of the product can basically be used as orientation help during
navigation. However, it must not be used as substitute for maps. The product is also
not suitable as substitute for professional navigation (e.g. for airplanes).
• Workouts come with risks. We recommended consulting your doctor before com-
mencing a regular workout program. In case of health problems, the product may
be used only with a doctor's approval. The same applies if you are wearing a pace-
maker, defi brillator or another implanted electronic device.
• Please note that the heart rate can be infl uenced not only by the workout, but also
by drugs taken for heart ailments, asthma, breathing diffi culties etc. as well as en-
ergy drinks, alcohol and nicotine.
• During workouts, pay special attention to your body's reactions.
• During workouts, if you feel unexpected pain or extreme fatigue, please stop the
workout immediately or continue at lower intensity.
• The pulse can be monitored with the pulse watch and pulse rate monitor. However,
the product is not a substitute for professional medical devices or monitoring by a
doctor.
