• This fan is designed to be installed on an existing electrical outlet box. The outlet box must be UL Listed for ceiling fan installations, if it is not, a new box must be installed. Casablanca extension poles are available for sloped or high ceiling installations. -

MOUNTING RECOMMENDATIONS Before mounting your Casablanca fan, read the following helpful recommendations. Step 4. Attach the canopy to the crossbar mounting bracket with three of the 8-32 x 2 " long canopy screws and lock washers provided with your Casablanca fan. Hand tighten until snug against the ceiling. Note: On sloped ceilings, align the canopy opening toward the top or peak of the room. -

ERRAZANO Step 5. To hang the fan body in the canopy, hold the fan body firmly and insert the nylon ball into the canopy open- ing. Rotate fan body until slot on nylon ball fits into pin opposite canopy opening. NOTE: The fan weight is 37.5 pounds. -

INSTALLATION OF WALL CONTROL Step 6b. The W-18 / W-28 is designed to replace a standard wall switch and will fit wall boxes (metal or plastic) with a depth of 2” or greater. CAUTION: Ensure power is turned OFF at the breaker or fuse panel before starting installation. -

ERRAZANO BLADE TIP SCREW (2 PER BLADE) BLADE TIP Step 10. Remove the shipping cover from each of the blade rod holders on the fan body. - Page 11 ERRAZANO Step 15. Attach the white wire plug from the bulb plate to the white wire plug of the fan. Then attach the black wire plug from the bulb plate to the black wire plug of the fan. The plugs have alignment tabs, assure these are aligned—do not force the connec- tion.
