- The filterholder has not been rotated enough.
- The internal gasket may be dirty and need to be cleaned.
- Hardened gasket, to be substituted with a new one.
- Ground coffee on the border of the filterholder.
Problem:
2.No coffee comes out of the filterholder.
Cause:
- No water has been put into the boiler.
- The filterholder has not been filled with coffee.
- The filter is clogged; this is due to coffee which has been ground too small and /or has been pressed too
hard into the filter.
Problem:
3.No steam comes out of the steam nozzle.
Cause:
- Lack of water or insufficient amount of water in the boiler.
- The steam nozzle is clogged (see paragraph on cleaning procedures).
Problem:
4.Not enough steam comes out when foaming milk.
Cause:
- The steam nozzle is clogged (see paragraph on cleaning procedures).
TO OBTAIN THE BEST RESULTS....
- Always use fresh water.
- It is advisable to ground your own coffee. Freshly ground coffee beans have a far superior aroma and
taste.
- Serve the coffee immediately after it has been made.
- Never reheat your cup of coffee.
