This printer is a Class 1 laser product as defined in IEC 60825 specifications. The label shown below is
attached in countries where it is needed.
This printer has a Class 3B laser diode which produces invisible laser radiation in the scanner unit. You
should not open the scanner unit under any circumstances.
Caution: Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified in this User's
Guide may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
The following caution label is attached on the cover of the scanner unit.
