Adjust the Proportional Gain (Kp) and
Derivative Gain 1 (Kvfb) values to ob-
tain the desired response characteris-
tics.
If the rising edge response is slow,
increase the Proportional Gain (Kp)
value.
If the amount of overshooting or os-
cillation is large, increase the
Derivative Gain 1 (Kvfb) value.
If the steady-state error is large, in-
crease the Integral Gain 1 (Ki) val-
ue.
Gradually increase each of the gain
values.
After you adjust each parameter, fin-
ish the tuning when the value of
Natural Frequency has stopped in-
creasing.

Select the Parabolic Vel. tab page and
set the following parameters.
Size: 10 mu (10 mm)
Time: 500 ms
Left Axis: Velocity
Right Axis: Following Error

Click the Parabolic Velocity Move but-
ton.
