IV.C. Sample Purification
Placement of sample cartridges in the cartridge preparation racks for the Standard and LEV instruments
is illustrated in Figure 4. Please refer to your specific Maxwell
Technical Manual for detailed instructions regarding cartridge and sample preparation and purification.
Note: Carefully peel back the plastic coating so that all plastic comes off the top of the cartridge. Ensure
that all sealing tape and any residual adhesive are removed from the Maxwell
before placing the cartridges into the instrument.

Note: Following the automated purification procedure, the LEV Catrtridge Rack will be
