5.6 Replacing a Redundant Power Supply

Replacing the power supply
Procedure
1
Unpack the new power supply from its package.

Slowly insert the new power supply into the bay, and align the connectors on the library
while supporting the power supply assembly.

Tighten the captive thumbscrews until the power supply is secure.

Replace the power cord cable.

Switch on power to the library (power button on the front panel).

Replacing a Redundant Power Supply
The second power supply can be installed without powering down the library.

Unpack the redundant power supply from its package.
