Switching Cycles and Times

The following table displays the switching times and switching cycles for different brake
sizes. Switching cycles describe how often the brake may be safely switched between
engaged and disengaged states, labeled in cycles per minute. Switching times describe
how long it takes in milliseconds between the current being turned on or off, and the
brake engaging/disengaging. Switching times will vary depending on whether the
application uses AC or DC side switching.
