ADDENDUM NORMALIZED INPUTS
ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS
WALL MOUNTING VERSION
The signal arrives from the transmitter (or transducer) via a 2- or 3-pole cable. This cable must be shielded if its
length exceeds 15-20 meters. It is connected to the 3-pin, extractable terminal strip. The pins are assigned as
follows :
pin 14 = power supply positive (for passive transducers)
pin 15 = positive input (+)
pin 16 = negative input (-) and reference (0V)
Connection to active transmitter:
Connect the transmitter's positive to pin 15 and its negative to pin 16
Connection to 2-wire passive transmitter :
Connect the transmitter's positive to pin 14 and its negative to pin 15
Connection to 3-wire passive transmitter :
Connect the transmitter's positive to pin 14 , its output to pin 15 and its negative to pin 16
In all three types of connection the shielded cable braiding must be connected to pin 16.

PANEL VERSION

The signal arrives from the transmitter (or transducer) via a 2- or 3-pole cable. This cable must be shielded if its
length exceeds 15-20 meters. It is connected to the 3-pin, extractable terminal strip. The pins are assigned as
follows :
pin 17 = power supply positive (for passive transducers)
pin 18 = positive input (+)
pin 19 = negative input (-) and reference (0V)
Connection to active transmitter :
Connect the transmitter's positive to pin 18 and its negative to pin 19
Connection to 2-wire passive transmitter :
Connect the transmitter's positive to pin 17 and its negative to pin 18
Connection to 3-wire passive transmitter :
Connect the transmitter's positive to pin 17 , its output to pin 18 and its negative to pin 19
In all three types of connection the shielded cable braiding must be connected to pin 16.
PERMANENT PROGRAMMING
The parameters 20 , 21 and 22 are set automatically by the microcontroller
which recognizes the position of the dip-switch S3 situated on the master card
(see drawing on right). If S3 is configured in a different way from that illustrated,
we cannot guarantee that the instrument will work correctly.
The start/full scale parameters and position of comma (decimal point) must be
specified when ordering your instrument !
