EXPLANATION OF THE PARAMETERS

PARAMETER
There are 4 different operation modes for the relay 1 output, coded as follows :
0 = contact closes when threshold is exceeded
1 = contact opens when threshold is exceeded
2 = NC alarm
3 = NO alarm
The following graph clarifies the types of operation. From it we can note :
1. TR means Type of Relay
2. Upper line = relay energized = contact closed
Lower line = relay deenergized = contact open
3. The terminal strip includes only the NA contacts of the relay, in that, to obtain the opposite function it is
sufficient to change the relay type parameter (e.g. PO10  1).
4. The time intervals are entered in seconds.

TIPO RELE' = 3
PARAMETER 02
This is the minimum operating threshold of relay 1 in conformity with the above graph.
PARAMETER 03
This is the maximum operating threshold of relay 1 in conformity with the above graph.
PARAMETER 04
Relay 1 intervention can be delayed with respect to the hreshold being exceeded with a value in seconds to be
entered in this parameter. If set at zero, the µP 97 considers no delay.
PARAMETER 05
Relay 1 deenergization can be delayed with respect to the threshold set with a value in seconds. If set at zero, the
µP 97 considers no delay.
PARAMETERS 06 , 07 , 08 , 09 , 10
See corresponding parameters 01 , 02 , 03 , 04 , 05 bearing in mind that they are relative to relay 2 .
PARAMETER 11
This parameter accepts only two values: 0 or 1. Value 0 is for choosing 0/20 mA output; value 1 is for choosing
4/20 mA output.
PARAMETER 12
This is for setting the measurement value to which the current output start corresponds (0 or 4 mA in accordance
with P11). For example, if we are dealing with a pH-meter and we wish to obtain 4mA at 3.50 pH, the value 350
must be entered in P12 (obviously P11 will be set at 1).
PARAMETER 13
This is for setting the measurement to which the current output full scale corresponds (20 mA). If we again consider
that we are dealing with a pH-meter and we wish to obtain 20 mA at 8.40 pH, the value 840 must be entered in
P13.
