Checking the chain, rear sprocket, engine sprocket, and chain guide

Adjust the chain tension by turning adjusting screws
right.
Guideline
Chain tension
Turn the adjusting screws

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (
Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (
Remove the engine sprocket cover. (
Main work
Check the chain, rear sprocket, and engine sprocket for wear.

If the chain, rear sprocket or motor sprocket is worn:
Change the drivetrain kit.
Info
The engine sprocket, the rear sprocket, and the
chain should always be replaced together.
When fitting the chain joint, always make sure that
the closed side of the joint faces forward (riding
direction).
Check the engine sprocket cover for wear.

If the engine sprocket cover is worn through in the marked

Check the engine sprocket cover for tightness.
