Extron System 8/10 switchers have bidirectional (i.e., "talk-listen"), user programmable, projector commu-
nications that duplicate the functions of switchers from Ampro, Barco, Electrohome, GE /NEC, Hughes /
JVC, and Sony. If projector input selection is made by the hard-wired or infrared remote control, the
System 8/10 switcher "listens" to the selection and switches to the proper input. Whenever an input
seie~~9n is made at the switcher (by pressing a front panel button, hard-wired remote control, or RS-232
CO\J1fu1,mications), the System 8/10 switches the projector to RGBS, S-Video, or composite (as required)
and l~ads the pre-programmed presets for that input .
