System 8/ 10 switchers are factory configured to
accept either 120 Vat/ 60 Hz or 240 Vac / 50 Hz
input power. The input power configuration is
indicated by the "dash number" following the
product part number. Product part numbers ending
with "-01" are configured for 120 Vac / 60 Hz
operation; those ending in "-02" are configured for
Fuse Location.
· 240 Vac / 50 Hz. To change the input power
configuration, do this:

Turn the System Switcher off. Disconnect the power cord
from the System Switcher .
Step 2:
Remove the 6 Phillips head screws securing the top cover of
the switcher (3 on either end). Grasp both sides of the top
cover, pull sides outward to "bow" the top slightly then lift
straight up a;,_,.ay from switcher. (Do not remove the 6
screws for the bottom part.)
Step 3:
Remove the 4 Phillips head screws securing the switcher
front panel assembly. Disconnect the ribbon cable plug
from the front panel assembly; remove front panel assembly .
Be sure to locate the position of pin 1.
Step 4:
Locate the. Power Supply circuit board located below the
main switching board. Notice that there are four jumper
holes labeled "A", "B", "C", and "D" on the Power Supply
circuit board .
Step 5:
120 Vac: For operation from 120 Vac / 60 Hz input
power, install two jumpers; one between jumper holes "A"
and "B" of the Power Supply circuit board and another
between jumper holes "C" and
"D"
of the circuit board .
240 Vac: For operation from 240 Vac / 50 Hz input
power, install one jumper between jumper holes "B" and
"D".
Step 6:
Reconnect ribbon cable plug to front panel assembly
(observe position of pin 1); reinstall front panel assembly.
Reinstall top cover. Install the correct line fuse (0.25 A for
120 Vac or 0.20 A for 240 Vac).
