Composite Video Input Connections.
NTSC and.PAL are television or VCR type signals on a single coax cable, which may not have audio on a
separate channel (2 separate channels if stereo). To connect NTSC inputs to the System 8/10 switcher, run
the video cable from the video source unit to the composite video (G) input of the switcher. Mono-
chrome computers have a single coax output, similar to NTSC. They are connected the same way, al-
•., though the computers seldom have an audio output.

INPUT
SELECTION SWITCHES
~ach input must have a corresponding video mode. This is done by setting the DIP switches located
above the output connectors. There are two banks of DIP switches. Each input has two switches, one in
each bank. For example, input #2 uses the 2nd switch at each bank.
For the composite video output
shown on the adjacent page (composite video signal connected to channel 2 input), the No.2 DIP switch
of S-VIDEO/SVHS bank should be in the DOWN (RGBS) position and the No.2 DIP switch of the
NTSC/PAL should be in the UP (VIDEO) position.
