ADDRESS SWITCH SETTINGS
<_ ,, Extron communications adapters (comm adapters) provide the interface between the 9-pin connector of
,, the communications cable and the switcher port. Extro· n manufactures a wide range of comm adapters
to interface with virtually all projector makes and models. Be sure to select the correct Extron comm

adapter to meet your specific projector requirements .
If you plan to use your System 8/10 as a stand alone switcher (i.e., not connected to a projector), it should
be configured as an Arnpro. The Arnpro configuration provides the fastest switching speed for all of your
stand alone applications.
For installations with one switcher, configure the System 8/10 as a primary switcher by setting the
AD­DRESS switch on the rear panel as shown in Fig 6-4 below. If multiple switchers are being used, refer
to Section 5 switch settings.
