Figure 3-8.
Video Output Connections.
The System 8/10 has three sets of BNC output connectors (RGBHV, Composite, and S-Video). Only one
set of output connectors can be selected at a time through the video mode selection mechanism, unless
· . i;he VLB (Video Loop Back) feature is being used. These connectors provide video outputs from the
• System 8/10 to the vig_co pr9jector or display monitor. All video output signals have the same format as
the selected video input. That is, RGBHV input signals are output as RGBHV signals, composite input
signals are output as composite signals, and S-Video input signals are output as S-Video signals. Thus, if
m4ltiple input signal types are used, the same multiple output signal types must be output to the projec-
. tor or display monitor.
LED OUTPUT INDICATOR
An LED lights to identify which of the three outputs is currently being used.
RGB OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
Attach BNC cables to outputs labeled "R", "G", "B", "H/HV", and "V."
COMPOSITE OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
Attach a single BNC cable to output labeled "Video."
S-VIDEO OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
Attach Y (luminance) BNC cable to the "Y" connector; attach C (chroma) BNC cable to the "C" connector.
