BS EN 1789, which is considered as ‘best practice’ for safety within ambulance transport. We can confirm that provided the unit is locked into the Ferno two- part locking device the trolley retention will meet the requirements of this standard. -

- Page 12 Headrest The CCT Six-P is provided with a detachable headrest that affords support particularly in the patient seated position. The black push button, located at the top of the backrest, allows the fitting and removal of the headrest, which can be rotated through half a turn to provide either a cup shape head support or flat support to incorporate a pillow.
