3. Operation
Menu Structure

From the System Menu, select

This menu allows the adjustment of the node number in the conventional manner. The
node number can range from 1 to 32. After a factory reset or an RS-232 menu reset, the
default node number is set to 17.

When this menu item is selected, the cursor (

When selecting the baud rate for either RS-232 or RS-485, the user has these
choices: 1200, 2400, 9600, 38400, 57600.
When selecting the byte format, the user has these choices:

N81, (one start bit, eight data bits, one stop bit and no parity bit)

E71, (one start bit, seven data bits, one stop bit, even parity)
~
O71, (one start bit, seven data bits, one stop bit, odd parity.)
Hardware handshaking can be set to ON or OFF.

The value of the number can be modified upward by rotating the selector knob
clockwise (CW).
Press SEL to update the number and advance the cursor one place to the left.
Repeated presses of the SEL key will advance the cursor through the numeric
fields, skipping the decimal-point field delimiter.
