The simplest way to control the router over RS-232 is using embedded Windows XP HyperTerminal program. Hyper Terminal is only supported by Windows XP. To install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 please refer to the Microsoft Windows web site Alternatively, you can download and use the open source Putty terminal software. -

If you click on input CH05 (Camera #1) and click on outputs CH05, CH06, CH07 and CH08, the input signal from CH05 will be connected to outputs 05, 06, 07 and 08 as shown in Fig 4-5. -
