After installation, to start up and test the pump, take note of the serial number and call your dealer or
installer from whom you have purchased the machine.
DO NOT PLUG IN AND DO NOT TEST!
Warranty is void if the above-mentioned instructions are not respected.

11 - START UP AND TESTING

11.1 START UP
Before putting the metering pump into operation, it is necessary to identify the behaviours and personal
protective equipment (PPE) most suitable for the product to dose. Please refer to the safety data sheets
of the products.
Make sure there is the O-ring on the valve and tighten by hand only.
Place the suction filter on the bottom of the container for the product to dose. The suction hose must be
as short and as straight as possible (without curves) not to jeopardise priming with any air bubbles.
Connect the delivery hose (small matt hose) to the delivery connection (valve on the top of the pump body).
Then, install the injection connection (check valve) in the system and connect there the other end of the
delivery hose. In case of big pipes, to inject the product in the middle of the pipe, it is enough to make an
extension to the injection connection with threaded pipe 1/2".
NOTICE: Check that the delivery hose, moved by the impulses of the fluid, does not hit rigid bodies, as
this might cause a deterioration and thus a breaking.
It is recommended to always seal the container hermetically to avoid exhalations and pollution of the
additive due to dust infiltration. It is also recommended to keep the controls cover closed.
