This manual is a safe guide for the use of the pump. Please read it carefully in all its parts before use.
This manual is integral part of the product, therefore keep it for future reference.
GEL SpA reserve the right to introduce any future changes without notice or replacement.
This user's manual aims to inform the persons taking care of handling, transport, installation, start up,
testing and maintenance about use of the system in standard conditions.
Before starting up the system, make sure that all information contained in this manual is clear, fully
understood and there is no doubt.
The user's manual is part of the supply; any type of electrical, mechanical and operational
responsibility is void if the operator does not observe all instructions, warnings and precautions
mentioned in this manual.
This manual cannot be misused or used for any other purpose than that it was issued for.
For any application different from the one indicated it is necessary to ask for the written
authorization to GEL Technical Department.

GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
- During an emergency of any kind in the installation place of the pump, immediately cut off power to the
system and unplug the unit from the outlet.
- When using particularly aggressive chemicals, carefully follow the regulations on use and storage of
these substances !
- Always observe local regulations on safety !
- The manufacturer of the metering pump cannot be held responsible for damages to people or things
due to wrong installation or use of the metering pump !
PRELIMINARY INSPECTION
Upon receipt of the system, take it out from the carton and check it is in perfect condition. Also check
that the data on the rating plate correspond to required ones. Any anomaly must be advised immediately.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
The system must be carried and stored in its original packaging only. Handle it with care and place it on
the right side (as shown on the package).
Notice:
- The warranty does not cover damages caused by transport or unloading when handling.
- Avoid the action of frost and/or heat during transport and storing !
