8. Using a security torx T-8 or a VT-8 screw, secure the bracket locking tab for physical security.

Install the access point on a junction box using the wall plate stainless-steel bracket and the extension
accessory on USA model and EU model junction box.
Before You Begin
Hardware required for junction box installation:

One AP302W access point
•
One flat head T8 security torx M2.5×6.5 mm long locking screw
•
One 100 mm RJ45 cable (not including connectors), CAT.5E flat LAN cable
Note
Provide your own flat head screwdriver and a torx screwdriver.
About This Task
You can install the access point on a junction box. For USA model junction boxes, you can use the
stainless-steel bracket that comes with the access point for installation.
Procedure
1. Remove the screws and the faceplate from the junction box.
2. Line up the bracket holes with the large hole on the junction box.
Note
When you line up the holes, the bracket locking tab must be pointing up and the junction
box must be fully covered by the bracket.
