Install the AP
You can mount the AP305C and AP305CX on a flat surface or wall, or on the rails of a standard dropped ceiling grid. If you
need to install your device in a non-standard ceiling, such as an Armstrong or Silhouette ceiling, you can order a separate

Install the AP on a Ceiling Track
The AP305C and AP305CX have built-in hardware that lets you easily install them on the T-rail of a standard (15"/16") dropped
ceiling grid. For standard ceiling mounts, place the built-in brackets onto the ceiling track and rotate the device until it clicks
into place. The illustration shows an AP305C but the procedure is the same for both models.
You can also install these devices on non-standard ceiling tracks or directly to a wall using accessory brackets. See
"Accessory Brackets for Non-standard Ceiling and Wall Installation"
"Regulatory Compliance
Statements".
