The print er m easured only a
sm all difference bet ween t he
'em pt y' and 'gap' sensor
readings.
Power has been rem oved and
shut down is in progress.
The host has pending
configurat ion changes t hat will
not t ake effect unt il a 'host
reset com m and' is issued.
The print er has det ect ed a low
operat ing volt age.
The print er was unable t o save
set t ings in perm anent m em ory.
The print er was unable t o find a
DHCP server.
A high print head t em perat ure
has been det ect ed.
Act ion ( s)
Replace t he print head if t he print qualit y
becom es unaccept able.
Transparent backing or not ched m edia
t ypically gives t his indicat ion. I n t his
case, t here m ay be a slight delay in t he
'Out of St ock' indicat ion, aft er t he m edia
supply is em pt ied; no act ion is required.
The print er power swit ch was t urned
'Off', t he line fuse has blown, or AC line
volt age has been lost .
To save changes, send a host reset
com m and ( in DPL) ; or t o discard
changes.
Possible low or fluct uat ing line volt age
level. Try m oving t he print er t o anot her
out let . When m ore t han 50% black is
being print ed, t ry reducing t he Heat
Value or t he size of t he black im age. I f
t he condit ion persist s, call for service.

operat ion of t he print er and can be
cleared from t he display by pressing t he
but t on. To st op t his from
FEED
reoccurring be sure t he m enu it em 'I P
DI SCOVERY' is set t o 'DI SABLED', see
Sect ion 4.5.

aft er t he print head cools.
