Possible Solu t ion ( s)
Press any key t o cont inue. Ensure t hat t he
reflect ive m ark was insert ed facedown in
t he m edia sensor during t he appropriat e
calibrat ion st ep; also, ensure t hat t he
reflect ive m ark is m ade of carbon based
ink, and t hat t he sensor is free of debris.
Ret ry calibrat ion.
Press any key t o cont inue. Ensure t hat
m edia was rem oved from t he m edia sensor
during t he appropriat e calibrat ion st eps;
also ensure t hat no labels are st uck in t he
m edia sensor. Ret ry t he calibrat ion. I f t he
problem persist s, call for service.
Try t he following:
1) Ensure t hat ribbon is correct ly loaded
and t hat t he print head assem bly is
lat ched.
2) Check t he ribbon supply and ribbon t ake
up hubs for obst ruct ions t hat m ay be
st opping m ovem ent .
3) Ensure t hat t he ribbon core fit s snugly
on t he ribbon supply hub.
4) Ensure t hat t he m edia and paper
com binat ion is not slipping ( usually
caused by an incorrect m at ch) .
Turn 'Off' t he print er unt il cool t o prevent
perm anent dam age due t o an excessive
print head t em perat ure.
