Condition lamps
These lamps light if an error occurs on the corresponding digital audio channel. Use
the MODE SELECT switch to determine which errors should be reported.
MODE SELECT switch
This switch determines which errors the condition lamp reports, as follows:
CRC: When a CRC error is detected
INTP: When error correction is not possible, and the average of surrounding
correctly played back words has been used for interpolation
HOLD: When error correction is not possible and the output has been held at the
last correctly played back word
MUTE: When neither of the above error concealments is possible and the output
has been muted
MC board
TEST switch
This is for maintenance purposes only. Do not touch it.
TC GEN (time code generator) switch
Select the advancement mode for the time code.
REC RUN: The time code only advances while the PCM recorder is actually
recording.
FREE RUN: As long as the PCM recorder is powered on, the time code advances
irrespective of whether or not it is recording.
TC OUTPUT switch
Select the time code output timing.
NORM: The time code is output at the in-line point.
ADV: The time code is output ahead of in-line point.
