15-4. Setting the Sound Memory Operation Mode

Check that the SOUND MEMORY lamp is lit, and the unit is in the memory
stop mode.
If the units is not in the memory stop mode (when one of the MEM PLAY, MEM
REC, START EDIT or END EDIT lamps is lit), press the MEM STOP button.

Press the MODE button to cycle through to the desired mode.
Au: Auto start mode
Et: External trigger mode
Sd: Manual mode

Manual mode

To copy the playback signal to the sound memory, press the REPRO button for
the source channel, and to copy the input signal press the INPUT button for the
source channel.

When you pressed the REPRO button in step 1
Press the PLAY button slightly before the required section, and begin
playback.
When you pressed the INPUT button in step 1
Input the signal from the external equipment.

Immediately before the required section, press the MEM REC button.

To end the writing to sound memory before the sound memory is full, press the
MEM STOP button.
