PURPOSE AND TYPE OF WORK

This hood is intended to absorb the fumes and doors during preparing meals. This appliance may work in two
modes:
AS EXTRACTOR - the fumes are redirected outside thru the hood exhaust pipe. The hood exhaust pipe is
not available with the kitchen hood, it has be bought separately.
Attention:
! Use as short as possible hood exhaust pipe.
! Use the exhaust pipe with the smooth as possible internal surface (do not use the Spiro type of pipe).
! Use the exhaust pipe with a very low number of bends (the angles should not be greater than 90
! Do not modify the diameter of the exhaust pipe (from bigger to smaller, from Ø150 mm to Ø120mm).
AS ABSORBER – the fumes are cleaned from the grease and odors before they will be redirected into the
kitchen room thru the grates in upper part of hood housing. To hood worked as absorber, a carbon filter should
be installed (Fig. 7). Caron filter is not standard equipment, please buy it at the seller.

HOOD INSTALLATION

Attention: Incorrect use of screws or components may cause an electric shock.
The minimum distance between the cooking surface (gas, electric cookers) and the lowest part of the hood
(Pic. 3) should be not less that 45 cm for electric cookers and not less than 65 cm for the gas cookers. If in the
manual of heating device, the installation distance is greater, please follow these regulations. The mounting is
shown on the drawings Pic. 4- Pic. 6. During
the montage please comply general operative
rules regarding exhausting air form the rooms.
