Before conducting any installation activities:
• Check if the hood dimensions are accurate to the chosen place,
• Check if nearby of the montage zone is located any electrical socket and the possibility of connecting
the hood to the ventilation duct redirecting the fumes outside,
• Check if in the places where the drilling will be conducted are no installation wires as electrical or
hydraulic,
• Check if the cabinet construction allows to cut the hole in way which do not damage the tools or the
construction with the connecting screws,
• Tool up yourself with tape line, pencil, driller, wood screws, screwdriver, saw, stopping spacers
(wooden or plate) mounted between the hood and the cabinet wall (the measure depends of the width
of the cabinet).
Mounting activities:
• Prepare the cabinet to installation, cut the hole in the base of the cabinet in accordance with the drawing
(Pic. 4a). In case of impossibility of cutting the hole, disassemble the base of the cabinet (Pic. 4b).
• Remove the aluminum grease filters (Pic. 5)
• Carefully slide the hood into the previously cut hole, hold it with one hand or ask an additional person
for help. Screw in the screws choosing one mounting way: A- mounting to side of cabinet, B –
mounting to top of cabinet (Pic. 6). In addition, in case of disassembling the cabinet base, mount the
masking strip with the dimension adequate to cabinet and hood (Pic. 6a).
