3.8.6 External Battery-Charger Header – J26
The External Battery-Charger Header exposes battery charging related signals for an external battery
charger. Please refer to the schematic to disable the SOM battery-charger before using this header. The
pinout of this header is descripted in below.

Auto boot Selection
ON (Default): System will auto boot
whenever power is applied
OFF: User needs to press the power
button to turn on the system after power
is applied

Battery Thermistor
ON (Default): Uses the 10k resistor
(R197) on the carrier board to
simulate battery thermistor presents
OFF: Use battery's thermistor

Battery ID
ON (Default): Uses the 51k resistor
(R198) on the carrier board to
simulate battery ID presents
OFF: Use battery's ID
