Conservazione dello scooter durante
lunghi periodi d'inattività
- Pulizia generale ed asciugatura.
- Svuotare il serbatoio della benzina,
dell'olio ed il carburatore.
- Svuotare l'olio del motore. Non mette-
re il tappo di svuotamento, ma tappare
con uno straccio pulito.
- Togliere la candela. Attraverso la sua
sede introdurre 10 a 15 cc. di olio anti-
corrosivo. Far girare il motore per
impregnarlo d'olio e proteggerlo.
- Ingrassare tutte le parti metalliche con
grasso antiossidante; attualmente
esistono nel mercato alcuni sprays
molto adatti per questo tipo di prote-
zione.
- Proteggere lo scooter con un telo
plastico, per evitare l'accumularsi della
polvere.
- Estrarre la batteria dello scooter e
pulirne l'esterno con un detersivo
soave. Eliminare qualsisi corrosione
dai terminali e dalle connessioni elet-
triche.
Per mantenere efficiente la batteria,
sottoporla a ricarica una volta al mese.

- General clean and dry
- Drain the fuel tank, oil reservoir and
carburettor.
- Drain the oil from the engine. Do not
replace the drain plug, but instead
plug the drain hole with clean cloth.
- Remove the spark plug. Pour in
through the spark plug hole 10 to 15
cc of anti-corrosion oil through the
spark plug hole. Turn the engine over
until it is entirely coated and protected.
- Grease all metal parts with an anti-oxi-
dant grease; nowadays there are
sprays on the market which are per-
fect for this purpose.
- Cover the scooter with a plastic sheet,
to prevent the build up of dust.
- Remove the battery from the scooter
and clean the entire outside surface
thoroughly with a mild detergent,
removing all traces of corrosion from
the terminals and the conductors in
the connector set.
In the interests of conserving the bat-
tery properly, it is advisable to give it a
top-up charge once a month (please
see page 60)

Nichtbenutzen
- Allgemeines Reinigen und Trocknen.
- Den Benzintank, den Ölbehälter und
den Vergaser leeren.
- Das Öl entleeren. Den Ölablaßstopfen
nicht aufsetzen, stattdessen mit einem
sauberen Tuch zustopfen.
- Die Zündkerze herausnehmen. In ihre
Lagerung 10 - 15 ccm
Korrosionsschutzöl geben. Den Motor
laufen lassen, damit alle Teile benetzt
und geschützt werden.
- Alle Metallteile mit Oxydationschutzfett
einschmieren. Auf dem Markt sind
Sprays erhältlich, die hierfür sehr
geeignet sind.
- Das Moped mit einer Plastikschutzhülle
abdecken, um es vor Staub zu
schützen.
- Nehmen Sie die Batterie heraus und
reinigen Sie die Außenflächen mit
einem leichten Reinigungsmittel.
Entfernen Sie von den Klemmen und
von den Anschlüssen des
Leiteraggregats sämtliche Spuren von
Korrosion. Für eine gute Wartung der
Batterie ist es angebracht, diese einmal
im Monat aufzuladen (s. S. 60).
