List Data Table

TPDesign4 supports the ability to create, edit and delete List Data Tables in support of List Box buttons.
List Data Tables provide the information that is displayed on List Box Buttons.
Since the purpose of List Box Buttons is to present data, a list data table is used to manage the data of a
List Box Button and can be designated through a property of the List Box Button. This separates the data
from the view so that List Data Table can be created statically or dynamically:

Edit List Tables dialog

Select Panel > Edit List Tables (or click the toolbar button) to open the Edit List Tables dialog
(FIG. 59). Use the options in this dialog to define List Data Tables, to support List Box Buttons:

Static List Data Tables are created via options in the Edit List Table dialog (FIG. 58 on page
102), and it's associated dialogs. A static list box populates button information based on data
stored on the panel. Once created, the table can be designated for a list box through a property
of the List Box Button.
The device will resume the last known static table event should power be cycled.
Refer to the Creating a Static List Data Table section on page 100 for details.
Dynamic List Box data populates button information based upon communications between the
panel and a NetLinx Master. Unlike static data, the list information displayed on the device is
present on the Master and not the device (allowing it to display current state information
provided by the Master).
Dynamic List data must be included in the NetLinx code running on the NetLinx Master in
order to be available for use on List Box Buttons.
If the device loses power it will not be able to display the last known states.
Refer to the Working With Dynamic List Box Data section on page 103 for details.
