Menu/Data Entry Screen

All of the AXWire functions are displayed and processed from one main program screen. A
representation of the AXWire menu and data entry screen is shown in FIG. 1. At this point, the
screen is not ready for data entry or editing. You will need to select a menu option such as OPEN or
NEW first. Menu option selections will be described later.

The AXWire screen is divided into several functional sections. The sections provide you with a
variety of options for developing and using AXWire files. The AXWire menu and data entry
function screen areas are:
Use the up, down, right and left arrows to move the highlight bar to any one of the data (text) entry
positions.

F-Key Menu Selections

You can press the Esc key to exit any F-key menu option.

F1-File

Press F1 to display a number of options. Use the up and down arrows to change the menu option
selection. The options are listed below.
AXWire AX Series Wiring Information Program
F-Keys - Four F-keys used to select a menu of file options and access the Help menu.
File Description - The top three lines, starting with DEALER, used to describe your
AXWire files.
Device Configuration - The portion of the screen starting at the DEVICE line to the end
(bottom) of the file. This section defines the cable and wiring configuration of the device.
Also included in this section are the four data columns and the pin number rows.
OPEN - Select this menu option to display a selection screen to open saved files. This
screen will contain a list of files you have previously created and saved. The shortcut is
ctrl-o. Use the up and down arrows to move the highlight bar over the desired file. Select
