Terminal Commands

All administration and configuration should be performed from the TVM Web
Browser.
Only if directed by AMX support should the command line be used. Inappropriate use
of the command line may result in misconfigurations.
The TVM-1600 includes a serial console port and accepts some text based commands at that port – some
of these commands are described below.
In all cases the serial parser will accept any command beginning with the right letter, c and channel, for
example, are equivalent.

Selects the channel on the ports specified by the Port property, or if non zero, the
port specified in the command.
c [channel] [port]
Selects the last channel (i.e. the one selected before the current selection) on the
ports specified by the Port property, or if non zero, the port specified in the com-
mand.
b [port]
Selects the audio volume for the ports specified by the Port property, or if non zero,
the port specified in the command.
If the volume parameter is not specified then the Volume property is used.
a [volume] [port]
Locks the port (or range of ports) specified by the Port property, or if non zero, the
port specified in the command, so that a user may no longer change channel,
adjust volume etc. on that port.
l [port]
Unlocks the port (or range of ports) specified by the Port property, or if non zero, the
port specified in the command, so that a user may change to any enabled channel
on that port.
u [port]
Enables phantom power on the port (or range of ports) specified by the Port prop-
erty, or if non zero, the port specified in the command.
j [port]
Disables phantom power on the port (or range of ports) specified by the Port prop-
erty, or if non zero, the port specified in the command.
k [port]
Allows the channel (or range) specified by the Channel property to be selected by
the user at the ports specified by the Port property. If the channel or port values in
the command are non zero then those values will be used instead.
e [channel] [port]
Prevents the channel (or range) specified by the Channel property (or the channel
value in the command) from being selected by the user at the ports specified by the
Port property. If the channel or port values in the command are non zero then those
values will be used instead.
d [channel] [port]
Queries a particular port (or range) or channel (or range) for relevant information.
q [port][channel]
Queries a particular port for currently selected channel information. If the last
requested channel is different to the current channel then either the port is locked
or the requested channel is disabled.
@ [port]
