Display Device IR Control

The Endeleo Managed TV solution supports the learning of the IR control protocols for display devices
(e.g. CRT TV, LCD, Plasma, Projector).
An IR Blaster is connected to the TVM-RX03 and attached to the TV screen over its IR sensor to accept
IR commands from the Endeleo RX.

Important Notes About IR Control

Configuring a Display Device's IR protocol

The two stages for learning IR Protocols are:
1. Train the TVM-RX03 to understand the timing sequences of the display device remote control
protocol.
2. Learn the actual IR code for specific functions on the device's remote control e.g. power off.

Learning the IR Protocol Used By the Display Device

1. Ensure a console session has been opened on the TVM-1600. The configuration settings for the
Terminal session are:
2. A TVM-RX03 unit needs to be connected to port one of the TVM-1600.
